Here are some fun sites to check out:

Interested in writing and / or publishing a book the DIY way?  You might want to check out the site http://www.publishingedu.com/  A couple of guys who write (and publish other people's writing) quite successfully (as in, their books have sold thousands of copies) know a thing or two or three about the ideal recipe for publishing a book that will get the right attention.  It's always a good idea for writers to take a look at some of the marketing aspects of book publishing before they hit the publish button on Kindle!http://www.thephotographerslife.com/    This photography site is for people who want to learn more about their DSLR cameras and possibly make a few bucks with their pictures.  It is super fun and the archives have a lot of information about photography and creative income.

If you are serious about exploring photography as a side income you might consider their conferences.  Although they are a bit pricey, if you sign up for their e-newsletter, they send out announcements about early deals.   The stock photography conference I attended was a lot of fun and I learned a ton about my camera and a lot about the ins and outs of stock photography.   I also met some very neat people.   The speakers and presenters are fun.  I especially love Bonnie Caton- lots of energy and very down to earth.  I haven’t made it big in stock photography but I’ve had some photos accepted on www.bigstock.com and made some tiny sales!  If you want to explore more about your camera and discover ways to make a bit of cash with your photos, consider this site!

You can buzz through or enjoy them.

Holly Becker of Decor8 is starting her Blogging Bootcamp THIS MONTH.  I SO wanted to be a part of it but won’t be able to this time through. I went through it last year and learned A TON about blogging, styling your blog, little things to spiff up your website, fun decorating stuff (that I haven’t implemented yet!) and more.

Check out www.decor8blog.com/classes for more information.
